Although breeding cats for around forty years, it seems like only yesterday that my first two Siamese namely Sue and Blue got me hooked on this wonderful hobby.----During this time I have bred Cornish Rex, Abbysinian, Burmese, Somalis, Maine Coons, and of course my beloved Ragdolls.
I would like to present some of my EARLY RAGDOLLS:
Prim and Proper

In 1981 I was the first person to import Maine Coons into the U. K.,
Also in 1981 ( a very busy year! ) I was the first person to import Ragdolls with my dear friend Lu Lu Rowley (Petil Lu Cattery) into Europe.
A celebration cocktail party was held ( once the cats came out of quarantine ) in Norwich, which was a great success, attended by all the media, and Anglia Television, and we were able to announce that Blossom Time Prim of Patriarca was in kitten to Blossom Time Proper of Patriarca.
I am so happy to be able to put my name “ Patriarca “ to the foundation of Ragdolls in Europe, having exported the first Ragdolls to France, and Germany.

Pat was a contributor, is listed in the acknowledgements by writers, wrote one of two forewords, and has innumerable photographs of her cats in the book “THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO RAGDOLLS” by Lorna Wallace, Robin Pickering & David Pollard. This was first published in 1995 and is still one of the main guides to Ragdolls.
